File Submission

General Guidelines

We accept files in many different file formats, though we can not accept everything.  Review the detailed layout and file submission guidelines to insure that your job is designed and formatted correctly.  Improper layouts, missing fonts, missing artwork, unsupported file formats, etc frequently cause delays beyond our control. Help us get your job done on time by following our guidelines.

Email Guidelines

• Files larger than 1.5MB may not make it to us via email. Sometimes files of 5.0MB do make it. In general, as files get larger, email gets less reliable. Always, use FTP (below) or overland delivery for files over 5.0MB.
• In your email include your name, company, phone number, and job number (if known).
• When sending many files, we recommend you compress the files into a single compressed  archive file. PC users find that WinZip works well for .zip archives. Macintosh users prefer Stuffit for creation of .sit archives,

FTP Guidelines

• Files of almost unlimited size are possible, but please drop us a line when you are sending over 50MB of files.
• To access our FTP site, request an FTP logon ID and password. For security reasons we do not permit anonymous FTP access. You can expedite your request by notifying your Customer Service Representative when you request  FTP access.
• Notify your CSR or email our graphics department. when you send files.
• For Mac users a third party FTP client like Fetch provides access to the FTP site. PC users check out our instructions for using Internet Explorer, or use a third party FTP client like WS_FTP.
